"Very good real Spanish food and tapas. Yes, they do need a bit more time if you come with 10 persons but they manage to give you an terrific experience of the real Spanish kitchen. Be it the stunning rice dishes or the vegatables or fish tapas, you simply can not make wrong choices here. And to complete it to a very satisfying situation, prices are very good and service is phantastic. Go there, you will like it very much."

"This has to be my favourite restaurant in Moraira. I took a party of 21 ladies yesterday 22nd March 2023 and we were absolutely delighted with our meal. From the first day I booked to paying the bill, Isabel was marvelous and so helpful. The whole family welcomed me and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to all my friends and will definitely be returning both with my ladies group and with my family . Thank you Isabel."

"My family lives in Benitachell, so we visit from the UK pretty often and always try new restaurants. We were craving Spanish food and decided to check out El Refugio. All four of us got the set menu and thought it was awesome. We really liked the starter, main, dessert, and drinks. The price was fair too. Don't let those recent bad reviews scare you away."
